Products  Sky Exports Plus Meaning of terms used in Export
- Buyer other than consignee: Any third party included in the contract for e.g. Agent.
- Notify party: In case of LC terms, the payment is made by the overseas bank and not by the actual buyer. In this case the bank will be consignee and the actual buyer will be notifying party.
- Port of Loading: The port from where the material will be loaded.
- Port of Discharge: The port where the goods will be discharged or unloaded.
- Final Destination: The destination where goods will finally reach.
- Country of Origin: The origin country of the goods, where the goods have originated from.
- Country of Final Destination: The country of final destination where the goods are finally reaching.
- Main Group: The main category in which item can be classified.
- Sub Group: The sub main category to classify the items.
- Item: Actual product for exports.
- Consignee's Bank: Bank of Overseas buyer.
- Bank: Our Bank.
- Terms of Delivery / Payment: There are different terms of delivery, for e.g. FOB, C & F, C.I.F. (refer point 3 above)
- Payment terms: Like Advance, LC, DA & DP (refer point 5)
